Morning: Arrive in Vienna and meet with your On-Site Program Coordinator before boarding a coach to take a guided tour of the city
Afternoon: Check into your accommodations with free time to relax
Evening: Group Welcome Dinner and orientation
Meals: Dinner
Transportation: Airport to accommodations (one group transfer via private coach); accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking); accommodations to dinner (walking)
Day 2: Wednesday – May 18, 2016: Vienna
Morning: Visit the home of prolific Classical composer Joseph Haydn
Afternoon: Visit one of the greatest collections of historical musical instruments in the world at the Neue burg Musical Instrument Museum, followed by free time
Evening: Visit Schönbrunn Palace for a tour, dinner, and a concert
Meals: Breakfast, dinner

Day 3: Thursday – May 19, 2016: Vienna
Morning: Take a tour of Mozarthaus, the former residence of the famed composer in Vienna. Afterwards, visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral

Evening: Hansel and Gretel opera performance at Theater an der Wien

Day 4: Friday – May 20, 2016: Vienna
Day: A full-day excursion beginning at Zentralfriedhof, one of the largest cemeteries in the world and the final resting place of such composers as Beethoven and Schubert, for a guided tour. Afterwards, head to the Vienna Woods, Heiligenstadt, and Baden to see both Beethoven houses in the region. Finish the tour with dinner at a traditional Heuringen before returning to Vienna for the evening

Day 5: Saturday – May 21, 2016: Vienna
Day: Breakfast at accommodations then all day trip to Eisenstadt and Fertod (Hungary) to visit Schloss Esterhazy, Haydn House, Bergkirche, and Esterhazy before returning to Vienna

Day 7: Monday – May 23, 2016: Vienna/Prague
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and depart for Prague (stopping in Pesky Krumlov on the way)
Evening: Arrive in Prague, then check in to accommodations

Morning: Take a guided walking tour of Prague

Day 11: Friday – May 27, 2016: Prague/Leipzig
Day: Check out of accommodations after breakfast, then board the coach for Leipzig. Arrive at your accommodations in Leipzig, then free time to settle in

Morning: Visit the Bach Museum for a guided tour
Afternoon: Visit St. Thomakirche, the chapel most famous for where Bach worked as Kapellmeister

Morning: Depart Leipzig for Buchenwald, taking a guided tour upon arrival

Day: Take a guided walking tour of the nearby city of Weimar, the former German capital after the nation’s defeat in World War I

Morning: A half-day guided tour of Salzburg, focusing on the city’s rich musical history
