Tips for Travelling to Hawaii

  • If you are a US citizen, you don’t need a passport to travel to Hawaii. But you will want to be sure to bring a government-issued ID with you, such as your Driver’s License or Passport, in order to board the plane.
  • In addition to your government-issued ID, don’t forget to bring your other travel documents with you. These travel documents include:
    • Pre-arrival instructions – Provided by CISabroad
    • Passport or Government Issued ID
    • Travel itinerary and plane tickets
    • Credit/debit cards
    • Medication prescriptions (if applicable)
  • Pro tip: Make copies of all of your travel documents. Bring one copy with you and leave the other copy at home with your emergency contact(s).
  • Be sure to check the weight limits of each airline you will be traveling on.

Tips for Long-Distance Flights

  • Bring a water bottle/snacks
  • Books and other entertainment
  • Try to keep your regular schedule
  • Refresh using face wash, washcloth, toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Pack a change of clothes in your carry on
