Group flights have been arranged for your travel to and from France. Your flight itinerary is as follows:

5:45PM – Depart Atlanta for Paris, France on Air France 681

Monday: June 5, 2016
8:10AM – Arrive in Paris, France
9:35AM – Depart Paris for Marseille on Air France 7662
11:00AM – Arrive in Marseille

When you arrive in Marseille, your On-Site Program Coordinator will be waiting for you; look out for the CISabroad and University of South Alabama sign! Once everyone has gathered, your group will take the airport shuttle bus from Marseilles to Gare Routiere, the bus station in Aix-en-Provence. From here, your host families will come to pick you up.

If you run into a delay or if for any reason your flight is canceled, call the CISabroad emergency phone immediately (normally this number is reserved for emergencies only but when you are traveling our emergency response team is happy to help) and inform the CISabroad staff member on the phone: who you are, where you are going, with what university (South Alabama) and let them know what your new travel arrangements are. The CISabroad emergency number is +1 413 210 7091.

Departure Information

When the program ends, you will head back to the airport and there are a few ways this could happen. Depending on your host family’s availability, they might be able to drop you off at the bus station to take the airport shuttle back to the airport. If they aren’t able to take you to the Gare Routier, Angelo will help arrange a taxi. Be in touch with Angelo as and your host family a few days prior to departure to finalize/confirm your travel arrangements – any costs associated with this are included in your program fee already!
