You should plan on arriving on January 30th into the Athens International Airport: “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH) between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Once you arrive at the airport, you may need to wait for other students to arrive. Look for a sign that says CISabroad!  The sign may be held either by our site director, Evgenia Karamani, or a staff member at Hellenic American College, as we coordinate our pickup with Hellenic American College to make the experience as smooth as we can!

In order to be guaranteed a pick up from the airport, you must arrive on the specified date within the specified time frame. If you have not already, please be sure to fill out the Travel Information Form on your Participant Portal!  If you are arriving before 9:00 am on the 30th, don’t worry!  Our site director will be in touch so that you can meet up with the team when we arrive at the airport.  The arrivals hall of the Athens Airport is not very large, so it will be easy to connect, and you sit and have a coffee until the pickup begins!
