There are many amazing excursions built into this program! The program excursions are designed to introduce you to South Africa’s history and culture and to allow you to experience for yourself some of the amazing things that can only be done in South Africa!
Your academic program at Stellenbosch University is supported by a well-developed social program consisting of day and weekend excursions to places of historical importance.There is also an amazing evening program built into the summer program, which includes film screenings, karaoke, dances, dinner parties, etc. Truly, this program has something for everyone!

You will also have the opportunity to participate on a 6-Day Garden Route at the end of your CISabroad Summer in South Africa program (for an additional fee). We are excited to announce that you will have the opportunity to extend your stay in South Africa for another 6 days and go on this amazing adventure with one of our trusted service providers!
This year’s tentative itinerary includes wine tasting, elephant feeding, a visit to Addo National Park, surfing in Jeffery’s Bay, whale watching, and much more!
