Welcome to Seoul!
Airport pickup is included in the CISabroad program fee, but we cannot guarantee airport pickup for anyone that arrives outside of the designated arrival times. To help us make sure we meet you at the airport, please submit your travel information via your Participant Portal if you have not done so already.
Someone will meet you at the airport, but not in baggage claim or before you have gone through customs and/or immigration. We will meet you outside of these areas after you exit customs/immigration. We will then transfer you to your housing.
For Kyung Hee University participants:
Once you go through customs and pick up your bags, you’ll meet the KHU pick up crew at the designated arrival spot. For terminal 1 arrivals, the meeting point is on the first floor of arrivals, between exit 2 and exit 1 (indoors).
For terminal 2 arrivals: the meeting point is on the 1st floor (arrival) near arrival B and exit 5, indoors, in front of the restaurant ‘Hanwooga’.
For Sogang University participants:
Once you go through customs and pick up your bags, you’ll meet your Site Director Sehoon Jang at the designated airport pick up spot. The meeting point is at the Information Counter at Terminal 2, between points A & B below (the two question marks are the information desks).
Look for the big sign that says “CISabroad”
If you cannot find the staff, go to the nearest information counter from the arrival lobby. If you can’t find the on site staff, DON’T PANIC! Look for the sign board with the CISabroad logo and your on site staff will be there to meet you based on the flight information you have provided.

All Participants:
Your bags may decide to take a later flight (don’t panic). If the airline loses your luggage you must file a report with the airline while you are still in the baggage area. It is much more difficult to file this report once you’ve left the baggage claim area.
If your flight is delayed, please make sure to call the CISabroad Emergency phone so that we can inform our onsite team of your delay. We will do everything we can to pick you up from the airport, even if your flight is delayed, but if we cannot meet you there, we will provide you with detailed information on how to take transportation to your housing.
A Pre-Arrival sheet will be available to you via your Participant Portal, 1-2 weeks before you arrive onsite. This will contain more detailed information on your arrival as well as specific phone numbers and contact information if there are any issues with your flight or airport pickup.
