Stay Connected to Your Experience – Become a CIS Abroad Alumni Ambassador

What’s an Alumni Ambassador, you ask?

A CIS Abroad Alumni Ambassador is someone who studied or interned on a CIS Abroad program and wants to share their amazing experience with other students who are interested in studying or interning abroad. If you’re passionate about what you learned and the experience and support CIS Abroad provided, you can become an Alumni Ambassador today!

What’s involved?

Our goal is to connect you back to your experience abroad by sharing your stories with your fellow students on campus and online. You’ll be invited to meet up with University Relations Reps on campus, attend pre-departure webinars with program coordinators, and help spread the word at college campus study abroad fairs and events.

NEW: Choose your level of engagement!

We’re here to meet you where you’re at, no matter how busy your schedule is. That’s why we’ve designed three levels of alumni ambassador engagement, broken down below.

  • Global Citizen – Complete 5-10 tasks throughout the semester. Earn rewards (up to $25) as you complete tasks.
  • International Advocate – Complete 10 – 15 tasks throughout the semester. Earn rewards (up to $50) as you complete tasks.
  • World Changer – Limited spots available!  Complete 15+ tasks throughout the semester. Bi-Weekly progress check-ins with the Alumni and Events Coordinator. Receive a monthly stipend for completed tasks (up to $300 per Semester).
Did we mention there are rewards?

Over the course of the semester, when you help with marketing promotions and activities, you’ll be able to earn gift cards and prizes. You’ll also have access to professional development resources, workshops, and mentors to help further your career goals.
