Arrival information

One group transfer from the Beijing Capital International Airport to the Ron Yard Hotel will be arranged for the afternoon of December 1st.

Your OPC, local guide and bus driver will meet you at the Beijing airport once you collect your baggage and clear customs. Look for the “CISabroad: Seattle Pacific University” sign! If your travel plans change for whatever reason, please inform your professor so that he can communicate any changes to our on-site staff!

Getting to the Ron Yard Hotel in Beijing independently:

A taxi from the airport to the Ron Yard will cost about 100-120 CNY one-way (~US$20). At the airport, there are clear signs in English directing passengers to the official taxi stand, so follow the signs to the taxi bay downstairs (do not leave the airport! legal, reputable taxis leave from the official airport taxi bay). Without traffic the journey takes about 40 minutes. In traffic the journey can take anywhere from 60-90 minutes. This option is certainly the most convenient if you find yourself having to navigate from door-to-door independent of the group. In all cases, be sure to inform your professor if your travel plans have changed!

Be sure to show the taxi driver the address of the hotel in Mandarin (it is a good idea to save this on your phone before departure!) since the majority will not speak English:

Departure Information

There will be one group airport transfer for all arranged on Sunday, December 20th for 1:15pm departure from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

A specific transfer time and instructions will be confirmed when you are in China. Your OPC will communicate this information to the group ahead of the departure date!
