Do you need a visa to study in Greece?
For the Semester in Greece program, you will need to obtain a visa. Part of the visa process involves an in-person appearance at the Greek Consulate that serves your state.
You can find instructions on how to go about applying for your Greece student visa in your Portal, or at this link! It’s extremely important that you read through this information carefully, as visa instructions can be complicated, and materials can take weeks or months to obtain.
Please also keep in mind that you should be checking your email regularly for updates from your Program Coordinator, who will be sending you important email reminders and visa paperwork.
IMPORTANT: CISabroad will only advise students on visa procedures for travel requirements for your CISabroad program only. CISabroad is not responsible for advising students on visa issues if they plan to travel internationally before or after the program dates.
Also, these instructions are intended for US passport holders only. International students must be aware of their own visa requirements and any additional documentation and/or processing time needed. Please contact your Program Coordinator for further information and to discuss your visa.
