Patricia Dongo Soria – Site Director in Lima, Peru
Patricia is excited to work with foreign students because she loves her country and her job and for almost thirty years has been promoting it overseas. During the years living abroad she hardly felt homesick thanks to the many people that made it possible for her to feel “local” almost immediately. Now, at this stage of her life, she can show them the generosity and variety of Lima cultures, as well as providing any assistance students may require. Patricia is a mother of three children (between 21 and 35) and all of them have been students abroad so she knows what it is like.
She has lived three years in Chile, Washington D.C. almost four, Florence eight months, Rome two years, Guayaquil, Ecuador six years and Holland six more. Patricia speaks Italian and manages herself pretty well in French but unfortunately does not practice the last one so much.
