3:45pm: Depart Dallas for Amsterdam on KLM 670

Saturday, June 6, 2015
8:05am: Arrive in Amsterdam
10am: Depart Amsterdam for Edinburgh KLM 1279
10:25am: Arrive in Edinburgh, meet CISabroad On-Site Program Coordinator, Kailee Sanchez, and CISabroad Scotland Program Director, Jeanna Brady, and transfer to the accommodations
1pm – 3pm: Neighborhood walking tour and pick up bus passes
4pm: Welcome Dinner at Mum’s Comfort Food
6pm: CISabroad Orientation at dorms

Sunday, June 7, 2015
10am: Meet outside the student dorms
10:30am: (optional) Visit St. Giles Church Service
11:30am – 1pm: Guided City tour including the Royal Mile
1pm – 2pm: Lunch on your own
2pm – 4:30pm: Visit Edinburgh Castle

Monday, June 8, 2015
9:30am: Meet outside the dorms and walk to classroom space with Kailee
10am – 12pm: Lecture with Dr. Gary West on Scottish culture & politics
1:30pm – 3pm: Visit the National Museum of Scotland for a Highlights Tour of the Scotland Galleries

11am: Tour the Botanical Gardens
1pm: Climb the Calton Hill with Jeanna Brady!

9.30am: Welcome tea and coffee at the Saltire Society
9.45am: Welcome to the Saltire Society by Magnus Linklater, President of the Saltire Society
9.50am: Magnus Linklater invites the President of Tarleton University to the stage
9.55am: The President of Tarleton University to say a few words
10.00am: Official signing of the Memorandum and photos
10.10am: Vote of thanks from Professor Ian Brown, Convener of the Saltire Society
10.15am: Professor Ian Brown invites Jim Tough, Executive Director of the Saltire Society to the stage to give
a presentation on the Saltire Society and its work.
10.45am: Q&A Session with students
11.15am: Tea and Coffee and networking
11:30am – 1:30pm: Free time for lunch
2pm: Tour the Parliament House

11am – 12:30pm: Talk with Chief Executive Mike Robinson from the Royal Scottish Geographical Society on their efforts in promoting pro-green policies in the Scottish Parliament
2pm – 3pm: Presentation by David Affleck from the Horticulture Society and group discussion (come with questions) or Possible tour of the Gardens

3pm – 4pm: Time to explore Stirling and return to Edinburgh – trains leave every 30 minutes
