Arrival information

All students arriving on June 18th will be met at the airport by one of our onsite staff.

Once student flight details are submitted, specific instructions will be shared with you. One of our onsite staff will meet you at the arrivals area and will be holding a “CISabroad: University of Oregon” sign- look for them once you’ve collected your baggage and exited into the main lobby.

Getting to the Chiang Mai Gate Hotel independently:

If you are arriving early, or somehow manage to miss our staff and are unable to get in touch with them (this shouldn’t happen!), getting from the Chiang Mai airport to the hotel is simple. Upon exiting the arrivals area of the airport (which is small), look for a taxi in the queue outside. Give them the name of the hotel (it would be helpful to save or print the name in Thai too, in case the driver doesn’t speak English as many of them don’t!) The ride should only take about 15 minutes and shouldn’t cost more than about 150 THB (~US$5).

Departure Information

There will be one group airport transfer arranged on Sunday, July 3rd to the Phnom Penh airport.

A specific transfer time and instructions will be confirmed once everyone has submitted their flight information. This information will be posted here and e-mailed to you.
