Arrival information

Two group transfers will be arranged from the Chiang Mai airport to your accommodations on January 3rd: one will be scheduled for all students arriving at 11:15am and the second transfer for those arriving at 10:30pm.

Your onsite coordinator will meet both groups at the airport and ensure a safe, easy transfer to the hotel.

Getting to the hotel independently

Navigating between Chiang Mai’s airport and the city center is nothing to be intimidated by! If for any reason you miss the group transfer, please let your onsite staff know you will be making your way to the hotel independently. The easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel is to catch a taxi or a tuk tuk from the pick-up area directly outside the airport. You may have to show the driver the address of the hotel in Thai, so be sure you have it printed. Taxis should use a meter, while you’ll have to haggle for a tuk tuk. If you’re unsure about this, it’s best to just take a taxi, even if it may be slightly more expensive. Either way, your ride to the hotel shouldn’t cost more than 300 baht, or US$10 at most.

 

Departure Information

There will be one group airport transfer arranged on Monday, January 18, to the Chiang Rai airport.

A specific transfer time and instructions will be confirmed once everyone has submitted their flight information. This information will be posted here and e-mailed to you.
